About 200-270MB a week on a 56k! I download then and then burn them onto CD. Then copy it to MD. Can't wait till I get my Sony MZR-909 tho as its got Long Play and it can hold a lot of tunes on one single MD!

my md (mz-r900) can do that... its has LP2/4/mono... its really good cos its hard to tell difference between normal and LP2...
theres supposed to be a new MD coming out where u can connect it to your pc and make a 80 min MD in about 3 mins

Yeah I know its called Net MD! its good but seems as tho my PC is very old, it doesn't have a USB port to use the Net MD feature! I really like the MZR-909. Your 900 is not bad too.
Is there a major difference between LP4 and normal SP?

if your a minidisc owner, theres a brillant forum for md's, deffinantly worth checking out this section of the forum, its cool
http://64.119.165.37/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=18
amd its webpage which is equally good
http://www.minidisct.com
the minidisc i think your refering to Sony MZ-N1,
http://www.minidisct.com/products/sony_mzn1.html
there do seem to be some issues bout the number of times you can transfer the same files i.e mp3 to the minidisc thro the usb, limited to three times,
this minidisc recorder deserves to have trance on it, using these discs
MDW-74Z (MD2000)
Developed specifically for recording industry
Made of Magnesium alloy
Disc magnetic sensitivity 2dB higher than all previous models
even tho there £30 each!!!
ps i've easily downloaded 150-200 megs in a day, so probly bout 2 gigs a week if im really pushing it, even hardly any of its trance

In a week I guess I get about 2 gigs, but I delete a lot of it, shit programs that dont work that are meant to be full games, music songs that aren't the mix they say etc

I get a limit of 300mb on my dial-up plan. But according to my ISP (Tel$tra..who are known for their ripping off abilities) 300mb is enough for an amazing 60, 000 single page emails!....yes thats right 60, 000. Thats what they tell you as part of their advertising for that plan.

300mb, in a day? man, that aint half restrictive i thought we had it bad in the uk, and that kind of advertising is outright stupid, its like a toilet paper manufacturer saying 1 roll of there bog paper gonna last you a few mths/even a yr (small catch is they expect you to use 1 sheet of the paper everyday) and we know that aint half possible, and if your really careful you spot covert tactics like these on adverts everywhere, them over paid marketing workers working their stuff

the limit doesn't mean i can't go over 300mb, but if i do they charge an arm and a leg for every extra mb, and its 300mb a moth.
