Welcome shipmates to 2006! We’re starting this year as we mean to go on! Store your memories of the now very distant 2005, and feast your eyes on this – the tidy Weekender 9. March 2006 sees tidy embark on its biggest voyage yet – a mission to uncover the hidden treasures of Prestatyn.
The first Weekender of 2006 is aptly called Pirates of Prestatyn, and in good old tidy fashion the now infamous Pontins site, associated more with tidy than the old fashioned British holiday will be decked out in pure Pirate fashion. And as ever, YOU are expected to follow suit and do the same! The Weekenders are not complete without your efforts, and your unique fashion is what brings the whole experience alive!
Musically, we’ve a few treats for you this time round. First up a world exclusive from the man responsible for shaping hard dance over the past 5 years! No further introduction needed, he is BK! This performance will be the first time he’s FULLY performed his LIVE set. Jon Doe vs. Nu Energy Collective also join the LIVE line-up, and with another Weekender first from Greg Brookman who presents the A.L.I.V.E PA, we’re sure you’ll agree it can’t get much better.
If there was a Bible which listed every man and woman DJ in hard dance, then the bookers at tidy HQ have studied it from back to front. EVERYONE who’s ANYONE will be on hand at TW9, and we believe there isn’t a page unturned.
As ever the daytime activities will balance out the nighttime’s hedonism, and of course we’ve a surprise or two in the Queen Vic. Justin Roberston, Fergie, and the 3 Amigos have all become part of tidy folklore from Weekenders gone by, and after you’ve witnessed the transformation of the Queen Vic this time round, you’ll be speaking about it for years to come.
The tidy football tournament, the Harder Generation Game, Tiny Tidy, and a very welcome return of the Live Lounge, will occupy your daytimes activities, and no pirate themed Weekender would be complete without a Treasure Hunt………………one with a very tidy twist! There’ll be no bodies dug up from under this Queen Vic, but a few pieces of silver, or a holiday or two perhaps!
If you’re a member of the tidy FC then prepare yourselves for launch date. VIP and standard chalets will go on sale on January 7th and as ever the VIPs will SELL OUT just hours later. Non members will have to sit tight until January 16th. There are three ways to book.
