Turnmills’ legendary weekly party – The Gallery, continues its love-affair with the South coast with their 3rd pilgrimage to Brighton’s Honeyclub on Friday 23rd September. The previous two parties have both been sell-out successes and next month The Gallery welcome back the student contingent to Brighton for what looks set to be their biggest night yet!
The main room features Gallery Residents Gavyn Mytchel and John Askew with very special guest Albert Vorne. At the age of 26, DJ/Producer & Ministry of Sound Radio Show host Gavyn Mytchel literally has the world at his feet. Signed to Armin Van Buuren’s Armada Music label and Tall Paul’s Duty Free Records imprint, Gavyn has fast become one of the UK’s hottest rising trance stars. Fellow resident John Askew meanwhile has been plying his trade at Turnmills for the past 2 years, building up a huge following with his tough, driving tech-trance sound. Like Gavyn, you can catch John on the airwaves – where he hosts his very own show every Monday night on Kiss FM. He runs his own labels Kompressed & Discover Dark and has had massive success with tracks like Vellum and Air Guitar. The third guest is Italian maestro Albert Vorne. He recently released his ‘The Maze Vol.2’ compilation with an approving nod from the trance heads and earlier this year he collaborated on a track with Gavyn Mytchel in his studio back in Italy. The result was Coincidence – soon to be a monster hit on The Gallery’s dancefloor later this year… watch out!! Brighton boy and Honey Club regular Ciaran McCarthy will be providing the early warm up, so make sure you arrive extra early!
Room 2 meanwhile is hosted by electro-house rockers Mongo Bongo. The infamous DJ collective continue their backroom residency at the Honeyclub with another awesome line-up. Mongo Bongo residents Anil Chawla & Marcel Kane lead the dancefloor charge, with heavy support from rising stars Dan Galbally, Tim Davison & Owen Davies.
